Firmware Upgrade 4.6.415145.35- Up2stream Mini V3, Up2stream Amp 2.1, Up2stream Plate Amp 2.1

Hello. I have 2 Arylic up2stream Amp. 2.1 boards. After the latest firmware update 4.6.415145.44 there are problems: I can program the Main EQ with ACP Workpench and save it to the board, but after a restart the Main EQ is deactivated again. This is the case with both boards. I downloaded the previous fimware from the Arylic Developers site and programmed it using the updateTool.exe via an Ethernet cable. It’s working again now. The Main EQ remains activated. Anyone else have the same problem? Otherwise the new firmware must be revised. Greetings

Yes 4.6.415145.44 is faulty. Thats why I stay with 4.6.415145.35
In my configuration the virtual bass was set to “ON” with 30% intensity after each restart - no matter what I programmed in with ACPW.

I got exactly the same issue (dated 19 sept 24) Is there something in the pipe to sort this out?
I got lots of old clients calling me beacause their device is not sounding as before the firmware update. I can’t do anything to fixed the bug and this is a major issue for me

No solution till now for this. You can only tell your customers to block the update server in their routers.

You can also completely deactivate the linkplay board by ripping it off the socket. But you’ll get a Bluetooth-Only box then, without WiFi functionality.

Will the factory reset also remove/default the per channel DSP related settings?

I just bought an up2stream on amazon, its the one with 2 speaker and one sub output, its on firmware 4.2.8020.13, and doesnt have a web page. It wont sync with my other devices that are 4.6 version. It says it has 89% wifi which seems good, but it flickers in and out of the 4 stream app. I am not sure what I can do , but I want all three of my players to work together, which is why I bought this product.

I habe bought several up2Stream AMP. See above screenshots of the 2.1 amp.

I want to upgrade the firmware.

I downloaded the actual .bin file. But nothing happens after clicking “apply”. The progress bar stays at 0%. Even if I wait for 1 h, the version did not change and the red warning persits.

How do I update the firmware?

If the AMP is connected via Ethernet, it does not respond to network commands; the network address stays at 0.0.0.0

Also, when connected via USB to a Linux Mint PC, no sound ist played.

The advertised “24/7 support” did not respond within 3 days, so I ask for help here.

Best wishes,
rogo

I cannot attach screenshots, since the web interface tells me: An error occurred: Sorry, you can’t embed media items in a post.

Please try to get the detailed information of board on hand, you could use this API, http://device_ip/httpapi.asp?command=getStatusEx, and paste the output.

Thank you! This is the output:

Thanks,

I connected the 2.1. AMP to a WiFi network. The URL above just returns “OK”.

I cannot see a change, the backup firmware is still active.

After trying to do the online update I receive: Firmware download failed,Please check your network connection

I would like to add some information about Arylic/up2stream and how this case is handled:

tl;dr: I spent $ 109 in december 2025 on a non-working amp with a firmware from 2017, which does not provide basic functions. After unsuccessfully trying to update the Amp for months, I did not get a solution yet after contacting Arylic/up2stream.

  1. I bought 2pcs Amps in December 2025
  2. The AMP 2.1 described here came shipped with a “backup3.8.5128” firmware dated to
    “20171228” (from 2017 !)
  3. Because I did not know about 2., I spend months figuring out how to get it to work.
    • Ethernet does not work, USB Audio is recognized by PC, but does not play sounds
    • Up2Stream App on Android cannot be installed. I spend a long time to get an Apk and phone to have it installed. I get it finally installed → result: the App cannit connect to the Amp
  4. I organize an iPhone just for trying everything I can do. The 4Stream App also cannot connect.
  5. I try the “Go Control” App on Android. Result: Although connected to the Amp’s AP, the app does not find and Amp
  6. I realize, the Amp has a web interface and offers OTA updates → does not work
  7. The web interface offers a manual firmware upload via .bin file → does not work, shows 0% for hours.
  8. After months of unsuccesful trying to update the Amp to use its basic functions like Ethernet streaming, I contact the “24/7” service - after Asking again via Email after some days, I get a response after several days
  9. They propose to create an RMA
  10. The RMA must be approved → I am waiting for almost a week for just the approval.
  11. Today, I have spent so much of my time, I did not receive an RMA approval so far and still have an Amp I cannot use

I planned to buy more Arylic / Up2Stream Amps, but since I experienced this story on my own, I am considering alternatives. I spent $ 109 on a non-working amp and get no solution
