I noticed today that the fallback hotspot doesn’t seem to have permanent protection unless I am mistaken?
I don’t know why I haven’t noticed this until now, but my router was down for about 30 minutes whilst I changed a load of cabling and I noticed that my V3 just sat there broadcasting it’s SSID with no WPA protection and didn’t reconnect to the router until I power cycled it. I looked in the app and there appears to be an option to set a password, but I cannot set it unless I turn on the hotspot mode, in which case it’s always in hot spot mode.
Is there something that can be done to secure this in case of router down time?
