Volume Knob Controller & Up2Stream Amp mono - Not working

Hi All,

I’m trying to connect a volume knob controller extension board to the Up2Stream 2.0 Amp Mono v4.

However, when I connect the 4-wire cable to the GND, GPIO1, and GPIO2 on the amp, I get an incredibly loud noise when turning the knob, and it doesn’t work at all. I noticed that some places mention it only works with v3. How can I solve this problem? Unfortunately, the project was designed to work with just the volume knob.

Can you help me with that?

I have just checked the knob and AMP board, it’s working as expected. Anyway, it will have the beep sound when adjust volume. I hope you’re not thinking this as noise.

And did you connect to the correct port? You could check the silkprint on rear side, and it should have the same PINs with the Knob board.
