Hi, that’s a really nice looking unit, great job! I’m looking to do a similar boombox, using spare drivers left over when I upgraded my homemade stereo speakers, so I’ll be making a three-way box. A question about the recess you used for your drivers - it looks like they are set back into the front panel by about 15-20 mm. Was this a stylistic decision or done for some other reason? I’ll be using a dome mid and dome tweeter.

the tweeter looks like this on Ebay:

The mid is bigger, but the same design with about a 2" fabric dome.
