For my project I’m trying to disable mono channel crossover in Plate Amp 2.1
I installed the Plate Amp 2.1 as the main amplifier for the living room and expected to use the 3rd mono channel for guest toilet loudspeaker.
I also paid for ACPWorkbench license hoped that the Plate uses only firmware lowpass filter. Removing the mono channel filter in ACPWorkbench didn’t help. The board still has hardware lowpass filter.
I did some extra research and removed the 44nf capacitor on the board and this slightly improved the situation but highest frequencies are still filtered out somewhere. I need support or suggestion what to try next?
So far I added the highest frequencies boost in ACPWB. Now it sounds almost like perfect but I hate fixes like this. I’d better remove one more capacitor somewhere so I will continue the research
