Today, I attempted to connect to the Up2Stream HD DAC using UART with an MCU. The UART did not respond to any command. After measuring the voltages on the pins, it seemed as if the TXD and RXD pins had no potential (they were floating). For reference, the A97/UART pins are pulled up to 3.3 V.
A similar situation occurred with the TCP socket not responding to commands.

Are the promotional information misleading?
2nd question:
Is my version damaged?
UART is crucial in my project, hence my questions.
