My current setup is a S50 Pro+ pre-amp streamer hooked up to a Quad Artera Solus integrated amp driving GoldenEar Triton 3 speakers. I listen to music using Tidal and the 4Stream App. I would like to access music via Tidal Connect rather than the 4Stream app and I understand the Up2stream DAC board supports Tidal Connect. Can I replace the S50 Pro+ streamer pre-amp with the Up2stream DAC in my existing configuration and, if so, wilI I experience an improvement in sound quality? Is the ES9038Q2M DAC in the Up2stream board better than the ES9023 DAC in the S50 Pro+?
