Hi I tried to connect the volume encoder to my Up2Stream HD DAC. But it failed.
I connected EncA, EncB, gnd and key to the device.
As soon I turn the encoder the player restarts. What is wrong?
Can you help. Has somebody succeeded?

I had the same exact experience. Posted in a different thread.
I don’t think the two are compatible. The DAC documentation and silkscreens does call out encoder a/b pins, but perhaps the one they sell for the amp boards isn’t right for the DAC. Disappointing and frustrating.
