Me revoici avec une petite intégration toute simple qui pourrait presque être ip66 !
L’idée de base est de sonoriser ma salle de bain. Ayant déjà plusieurs pièces avec du matériel de la marque Arylic, je me suis naturellement tourné vers eux pour continuer mon installation multiroom.
J’ai choisi les baffles RK30 (RK30 Wall Mount Cube Speaker – Arylic) en blanc, plus harmonieux avec la couleur de ma salle de bain. J’y ai ajouté un ampli stéréo (Amplifier Board with WIFI | DIY Amplifier Kit-Arylic.com – arylic) auquel j’ai ajouté la plaque de bouton (DAC, Button and SPDIF Expansion Board for DIY Speakers-Arylic.com).
Au vu de l’humidité certaine qu’il y a dans une salle de bain, j’ai voulu faire un boitier le plus étanche possible afin d’éviter une corrosion trop rapide des éléments électroniques.
Je me suis rendu compte que la boite dans laquelle est envoyé l’ampli pouvait tout à fait convenir. Ça m’a permis de faire un petit bricolage avec ma fille qui s’est amusée à découper la boite au fer à souder afin d’intégrer le module tout en bénéficiant des différentes connectiques. Et oui, j’ai des prises Ethernet dans ma salle de bain, pas besoin d’utiliser le module wifi du coup.

J’ai placé les boutons de sortes à ce que les connectiques soient à l’opposé de l’arrivée d’eau.
J’aime assez le côté brut et qu’on puisse voir les lumières à travers la boite transparente. Je vais peut être la décorer dans le futur.
Je me laisse un peu de temps pour tester si le module chauffe beaucoup ou pas. Au besoin, je découperai deux trous pour l’aération.
Je suis actuellement très content du rendu des baffles, pour une si petite taille, la couleur du son me convient parfaitement, il y a un bon rendu tant des basses que des aigus.

Here I am again with a simple little integration that could almost be ip66!
The basic idea is to add sound to my bathroom. Having already several rooms with equipment from the Arylic brand, I naturally turned to them to continue my multiroom installation.
I chose the RK30 speakers (RK30 Wall Mount Cube Speaker – Arylic) in white, more harmonious with the color of my bathroom. I added a stereo amp to it (Amplifier Board with WIFI | DIY Amplifier Kit-Arylic.com – arylic) to which I added the button plate (DAC, Button and SPDIF Expansion Board for DIY Speakers-Arylic.com).
In view of the certain humidity that there is in a bathroom, I wanted to make the most watertight case possible in order to avoid too rapid corrosion of the electronic elements.
I realized that the box in which the amp is sent could be quite suitable. It allowed me to do a little DIY with my daughter who had fun cutting out the box with a soldering iron in order to integrate the module while benefiting from the different connectors. And yes, I have Ethernet sockets in my bathroom, so no need to use the wifi module.
I placed the buttons so that the connectors are opposite the water inlet.
I quite like the raw side and that you can see the lights through the transparent box. I may decorate it in the future.
I leave myself some time to test if the module heats up a lot or not. If necessary, I will cut two holes for ventilation.
I am currently very happy with the rendering of the speakers, for such a small size, the color of the sound suits me perfectly, there is a good rendering of both bass and treble.
