I’m not too tech savvy and this pre-amp solved a great issue I had controlling a vintage stereo I recently purchased. I no longer have to get up and reach for the volume knob 
With EQ presets and bass booster add to even a better sound coming out of my amp. It’s a super versatile little thing. Can’t wait to create a multiroom system.
Hopefully we will get an improved remote control soon, for now I’ll just keep aiming it to the device as if I was playing duck hunt in Nintendo.
