SPDIF Out board activation: help wanted

Hi, I’m new on this forum since today and started reading about several interesting topics. Meanwhile I do have an issue that I am not able to resolve and I cannot find a solution on these pages. My Up2Stream Mini + DAC module are connected to my main system and work totally fine. To connect the Mini to a Topping DAC with SPDIF in, I recently ordered your SPDIF Out board. Still, after linking it up to the Mini, I get no sound, neither via Coax or Toslink. I do see that the Toslink LED is on, which could mean that there is power going to the SPDIP Out board. Several things I have already checked: 1. a factory reset, 2. use of a different 7 lead flat cable (as suggested by someone on this forum) and 3. stripping the flat cable to only the 2 power leads and SPDIF leads, but it did not solve the issue. Is there another thing I could try, or is the SPDIF Out board the issue and should I send it back to my dealer?
Thanks for your help. BW, Martin

Up2stream Mini V3 SPDIF is set to digital out by default, presuming you haven’t changed the settings with the ACPWORKBENCH. It should work.
The board they supplied you does have ‘digital out’ printed on it? Seeing as though you have tried different cables, I would think that maybe you have a defective board

Hi @Steve1, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, on the board is clearly written ‘SPDIF OUT board’. I did not change any settings, but indeed swapped cables, which did not help. I will send it back to my supplier then. Kind regards, Martin
