I have had this problem with Tidal HiFi, when I play any song it plays for 2-3 seconds, then stops and plays again. Usually just before the end of a song it glitches for a fraction of a second and starts playing again. On other days a song can stop 5 to 7 times for 5 - 10 seconds. I use fiberwire internet 300Mb, the device is connected to WiFi, the strenght of the signal always above 81%. These stops are so annoying that you can’t listen to it. When I stream Spotify or internet radio it works perfectly and much faster. Does S50Pro+ have a problem playing higher resolutions and bigger files? I have up to date firmware, 4stream is also up to date. I reset the device many times, deleted unnecessary data from the aplication, changed WiFi from 2,4 to 5 Ghz nothing works.
I recommend you to download your Tidal music to your computer as local files, using tools like Chrome Audio Capture or ViWizard Tidal Music Converter. Since I encountered this problem all last week, my friend told me to save them before it fails to work again.
You can try to download and put Tidal songs on your device for playback to avoid this issue.
