I hooked a up2stream pro v3 up to a minDSP. But if i push the volume of the phone all the way up i get distortion caused by the miniDSP. It is caused by the “too loud” signal being input to the miniDSP. Is there a way to lower the max volume so that the phone is still at full volume?
So i think the problem is that the pro V3 outputs a higher volts rms signal than the miniDSP can get.
The miniDSP can only get 2 Vrms. So i somehow need to lower the output voltage of the proV3
Hi, the PROV3 output 1Vrms at maximum, this should not be the problem. Maybe you applied too much gain on the input of MiniDSP.
