Question about wiring Up2Stream Pro + DAC + IR board

Hi. I’m trying to set a multiroom system at my home and I thought I would need to save money until my 60’s to pay for it. That was when I came across Arylic Up2Stream Pro board.

I’ve purchased two boards which will be connected through ethernet cable and also I’ve purchase a DAC board to improve sound quality and an IR Board since they will be hidden and it will be a pain to access to it to turn it on and off.

I’ve read through the forum and I found a topic where someone said that to connect the DAC expansion board to the Up2Stream Pro, there’s only needed to use the 7 pin wire supplied. Nevertheless the pin ID on the back of the board doesn’t match.

Is there anyone who has gone through it and can give me some advice? I don’t want to supply incorrect voltage and fry my new toy.

Regarding the IR pins, I think some soldering is going to be needed. Are the ones needed to connect the ones I mark in the picture?

Hi,
This has been discussed previously, the cable is correct.

Hi Steve1.

That was the post I was referring in to in my coment.

I’ll try to connect the board and the DAC through a Fosi BT10D amp + mission speakers and see how it goes (my NAD amp is under repair now).

I also bought an S50 PRO+. Once it arrives I will compare the sound of both of them. I think there shouldn’t be any difference. Has anyone try them out already?
