since a few days all my 4Stream app presets for internet radio doesn’t work anymore, seems to be a vtuner or app issue? Selecting a preset will start the stream but stops after a few seconds on all my Up2Stream Pro devices.
Manual search for internet stations doesn’t work too, there are no internet radio stations anymore (no listing of stations, genre, language…).
Seems to be an issue with the last app update or vtuner…a few days ago all was working fine.
Have you contacted the Arylic Customer Support?
Forum support can be helpful and insightful, but if none of the members who happen to check the Forum know of or have some idea of what the issue is, then contact with Arylic directly would be a better option for you.
I did some reverse engineering apk and found a URL where all the radio stations it reads are, but I don’t know who can update the database of the radio stations service?
Looks like a backend/vTuner issue rather than your devices, especially since presets, search, genres, and station listings all stopped working at the same time. If local/network playback still works fine, that points even more toward the radio service or latest 4Stream app update.
Hopefully they fix it server-side soon — you’re probably not the only one affected.
For here, all is normal since a few days. Seems that the VTuner background services are working now again.
The arylic support seems to ignore emails, i didn’t get any reply to my question about the issue here. Support here seems also to be dead.
I managed my boards to use UPNP only (the internet radio is now provided by the router), hoping that these helps for the future and next problem with the VTuner availability.
It is very disappointing - the hardware is really great, but the app and services behind and the actual official support for the products are really shocking.
