I recently received a B50 and am attempting to determine the most recent firmware; can anyone confirm? I’ve tried downloading the tool, but before I can do anything, it just opens and closes. I need help because my B50 is having issues. Thanks
Just updated fine here after I ran the upgrade as administrator. Running it as normal caused it to fail updating, and the program simply exited before completion. I’d also disable antivirus too.

Worked for me. I had my B50 on version 54. I’ve never attempted an upgrade and didn’t even know this was available. It wasn’t until I got a new tv that was supposed to send CEC over hdmi 4 eARC that I realized the volume control wasn’t working. It worked with my Apple TV. So I decided to try upgrading to version 57, via a Windows 10 VM on my Mac (Intel) using the Arylic upgrade app. It plugged the DAC in with a full data supporting USB-C cable, it was connected, I told VMWare Fusion to always connect it to the VM, then ran the app. It detected the B50, I selected version 57, BUT after it downloaded it failed to uncompress the file.
I manually uncompressed the 57 version zip, then set the upgrade app to “Local” and pointed to the file and upgraded. The device will disconnect at least once and reconnect, allowing the device to connect to my VM helped.
CEC volume control with my tv remote works now. 
Sorry for those that might have bricked, but I was able to do the USB-C method from 54 to 57 without any problems, using a Win10 VM on Mac (again, Intel CPU, not the new M cpus) and I’m happy the volume control works now and thought to share so,etching positive.

I updated my BP50 to the last published version wia the app with an usb-cable. After the update, the BP50 shows only a red Standby-LED, but does not do anything else. It seems to be broken.
My very first BP50 upgrade succeeds for me 
Just lanched application as administrator with BP50 in DAC mode
- Current version: 55-e12492a2
- Firmware: 57-d94126e9
=> “Updated Successfully”
Progress was about 1 minute and not appears linear … 
DAC source (youtube) was available right after 
I notice now that volume knob activates LEDs status from first (BT) to last (DAC) 
Tested: DAC, Line, Optic, BT (audio & control) => PASS

I could see updates for the BP50 (both 56 and 57) and even click the Update button in the Arylic Update window. The problem? It just downloaded the zip file ARYLIC_BP50-0057-d94126e9-20240918.zip and nothing else — the Update button went grey and nothing happened.
What I did instead: I unpacked the zip file, used “Local Update,” selected ARYLIC_BP50-0057-d94126e9-20240918.MVA, and hit Update. A green progress bar appeared, and in about 30 seconds it said “Update successful.

Hi, trying to install Arylic Update 1.1.1, so that I can update the firmware of my B50, but keep getting the following error messages, and it doesn’t install. Thanks for your help.

Has anyone at Arylic actually ran this update tool because I’m not seeing anything that looks like the pictures.
Where it says firmware it says local update and the update box below that is blank
I can’t drag any files to the box and it shows my current version above the firmware box that says local update
I’ve updated many firmwares before and none of them had anything like this. Every other one I used on anything over the last 25 years has had the firmware updater (even in DOS it was super easy) tool show up and without question show my current firmware and it then asks me to pick it to the firmware file. On e I did that then they check the file to make sure it’s the correct one for your device and if it’s not it won’t allow the update this one doesn’t even allow me to pick out a file and his am I supposed to trust an explanation that doesn’t look like what I’m supposed to be seeing?
You guys never seem to get it, why is every software you guys put out so buggy and non-functional.
Even at $100 in normally would just do it but I can’t even get your software to do it at all.
I see there’s an information box that will show up if I open it and that’s not even mentioned here that’s why I’m asking if anyone has ever physically grabbed a new BP50 from the production line and actually made an attempt to upgrade it.
The box has instructions that says “check your internet” what does that mean? It has to have an Internet connection even though I downloaded the file to make sure I have fewer possibilities of a problem?
Then it says “select firmware (MVA file can be done manually)” I don’t see any MVA files in any of the 4 downloads I did ?
Then press update. Even if I found a mva file what do I do with it? I can’t drag anything over to the box and my firmware box doesn’t show anything like what you’re displaying here.
Then wait till it reaches 100% now this I’m highly doubting anyone ever sees
Them repeat for other devices , I think after bricking the first device nobody will be repeating anything
I’m only here to do this because AI told me it will solve the issues I’m having with start up noise yet I’m not seeing anything mentioned about it in the changes log. All I saw was some things that I’ll never use the bp60 for. I already picked up an adcom pre and amp for the same price I paid for this so I figured if it’s bricked oh well I can’t say I didn’t expect it but at least I have another to replace it. And I have more than one rcacinput
