Is it possible to use Volume Knob Board for power switch on/off on Up2stream Amp Stereo ?

Hello everyone,
I am looking to use my Volume Knob Board by pressing it to turn my Up2Stream Amp on and off. Do you think this is possible?

You could connect the wire to the button on board, so they will behave same. Short press to switch input mode, and long press to power off, and also power on when off.

Ideally I’m looking to use gpio but it’s a good solution @zpl1025
