Exact pinout of Up2Stream Plate Amp and IR receiver type

Hi,
I bought an Up2Stream Plate Amp. In the documentation ther is a connector called PH2.0-4P: VCC3V3, GND, IR, ADC. Is it right to assume that:
Pin1 = VCC3V3
Pin2 = GND
Pin3 = IR
Pin4 = ADC

Can a standard TSOP 38khz IR receiver be used ?

I see this question is ~6mths old… My guess is yes as that is what @Steve1 posted for U2S Pro v3.
