Recently bought a A50+ and I am looking for a solution.
Would like to control my TV, including volume, with one remote.
My Samsung Frame Smart TV (2020) is connected over toslink/optical with the A50+.
Arylic isn’t one of the supported amplifiers of Samsung, and optical doesn’t support volume control.
Anyone a solution?
@Rigi I have the same problem with Sony TV, the optical out is fixed (not variable), so I just ordered an hdmi2optical extractor from AliExpress, with which it might be possible to route the sound of the regulated hdmi output to the A50+…
the stuff is still on the way, so I can’t report the outcome.
