my Name is Tobi, I just registered to ask for support regarding component selection. I’ from lower bavaria and I’m in the process of building a house. I want to have an audio system installed into one of the rooms. First I thought what I have in mind won’t work with Arylic components, but a friend of mine told me you can link the DSPs…so maybe it will work, after all.
I need five channels - two two way speakers and a Subwoofer - with independent amplification and processing. My Audio source is a head unit which is installed into a wall. The head unit also will handle Bluetooth, Wifi and so on…so I won’t necessarily need connectivity. I will transfer the (Stereo) source signal from the HU to the DSP/Amps via Cinch.
My main concern is being able to have five DSP channels with filters (HP and LP at least 4th order, Shelf, Notch) and time alignment.
Amplification would be nice, but can also be done externally…power supplies etc. will be selected according to the components, at the moment I have 12V/120W for the auxiliary systems and 24V/300W for the Amplification.
