BP50 Line Outputs Turn Off, Subwoofer Stays On

I have the same issue with BP50 using firmware version 58. Support sent me update #59 which so far refused to install even though I get an update notification within the app. In any case, has this been resolved at all after 10 months of the lost recent message? Is this due to a faulty hardware? Is this all BP50 devices or just certain series?

I gave up with this shitty brand. Save your money and buy a reputable brand or just a brand with REAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
They do not even read the customers complaints.
Stay away from this brand and avoid it as the plague.

Despite the minor shortcomings of the BP50, I’m still very satisfied with this very capable device. I certainly wouldn’t want to miss out on the many advantages the preamp offers. Indeed, I too was concerned about the occasional audio dropouts at the RCA jacks, but I’ve now found a workaround. I bought a small DAC from Amazon (€20) and now use the optical output signal. Since then, the interruptions have stopped.
As for the ARC connection via HDMI, I simply got a really good 1-meter cable and since then, there have been no more problems.
The slowly dying LED don’t bother me in the slightest, since I like to turn off all the lights on the amp anyway. I find it nicer that way.

My basic motto is: If I want premium quality, I have to pay premium prices. It’s kind of logical. If I can get something cheap and get it working with workarounds just as well to my complete satisfaction, I’m happy.

Hi Tobias, I am glad that you are happy with a piece of crap that requires workarounds to give you what you were suppossed to receive when you buy it.
I am happy with my “NOT SO EXPENSIVE” Wiim Ultra that gives me more features/performance than what I paid for.
What can’t be denied is the TOTAL lack of support from this company. As I mentioned in another post, I hadn’t visited this forum for months, but I did so out of curiosity, only to find that all the complaints, issues, and problems still persisted without a solution.
For that reason alone, I DON’T LIKE ARYLIC.
Have a good life fixing what you should not have to fix.

Dear Victor,
Your anger seems to be really deep-rooted. That’s a shame, especially since listening to music is one of the most enjoyable things I can imagine.
And yes, I solved the problem for myself. My BP50 now does exactly what it is supposed to do.
It cost me a total of €110, including the purchase of the BP50. Your Wiim Ultra probably cost around €400. That’s almost €300 more. I also took a look at the Wiim Ultra. It’s a good device, no question. Price-wise, I think my solution is better…
Then again, everyone is to choose how to spend or what to do with their money.

And what would life be without a little challenge?

Hi Tobias.
I am not in anger, not since I got my $329 Wiim Ultra, that have served me to build setup that works a sound like an audiophile system worth thousands of dollars for less than $500.
Here is a picture of what I use to listen to music (without flaws or isues).

I am pretty sure that you can NOT build something like that with an Arylic BP50 as the base.

Enjoy your so-called Price-wise solution and I will be delighted with my Worry-Free/Less than $500 Audiophile Setup.

I was thinking to sale my BP50 but I am Human enough to do not harm another human being with that burden.

Cheers!
