I have two laptops, one running Ubuntu 22.04 and the other Mac OS. I have connected the B50 to both using USB-C cable in the DAC port, but neither system recognizes the device at all. I see no entries in dmesg. I tried switching out of and back into DAC input on the B50. I tried power cycling the B50. I tried a USB-C to USB-A cable. It is as if the device is not plugged in at all. Starting to suspect I have faulty hardware.
It does work fine as a bluetooth receiver though.
