Amp Boards...Can i remote the POTs?

I have used some amplifier boards that allowed me to remote the volume, bass and treble potentiometers. Usually if the amp puts analog audio signals through the POTs the extension wires can pick up noise but amplifiers that are DSP based or use the POTs for control only signals usually work fine. Is this possible with your boards? I understand it would void any warranty but i would like to know if there are analog signals or digital/control signals on the pots? Thanks in advance.

Hi Peter,
I think you will find that the three controls are rotary encoders rather than potentiometers, in theory you should be able to extend them.
I have read in other posts that people have tried but faced difficulties removing them from the circuit board.

great to hear…desoldering is not a problem for me. I will give it a try.
