I ordered the SPDIF IN module from the Arylic Mall Store at AliExpress and this is the one I’ve got, which is slightly different from the one advertised by Arylic.
In order to test it with the U2S Amp v4, what is the voltage required to operate it, 3.3V or 5V?

Well, I selected 5V and it worked.
I have a solid magenta and the audio is aceptable from my chromecast audio.
I just used 3 signals:
SPDIF IN
5V
GND
Since none of the supplied cables matched anything I just had to cut/solder/invert several connections and it worked right away.
Just selected optical from the App and off I went.
