ACP Workbench Settings

Hi,

I am using a 2.1 up2 stream amp and have set the DAC output to mono, assigning different filters for each channel: sub for the subwoofer, left for the tweeter, and right for the mid-range.

However, I noticed that I couldn’t adjust DRC settings (Threshold, Ratio, Attack Time, and Release Time) individually for each channel. This is an issue because the amp seems to be a bit too powerful for the drivers I’m using. Is it possible to adjust these settings? Or am I missing something?

Also, with the filters, for example, High-Pass Filter (HPF):

  • Cutoff Frequency (f0): 58 Hz
  • Q Factor: 0.707 (2nd Order Butterworth)

Low-Pass Filter (LPF):

  • Cutoff Frequency (f0): 200 Hz
  • Q Factor: 0.707

I plan to set these, but I find it a bit confusing. Is there anyone with expertise in ACPworkbench who has dealt with similar issues? I wish it were compatible with SigmaStudio. Is there any way to use it? Even tho I know the answer

Best,
Kurt

Hi Kurt,

Please refer to this audio path. And for the seperated channel, you could adjust the pregain in EQ settings to balance the total output.

I’m not very sure what you mean for the filters. In the ACP tool, the processing should be very straightly demostrated by the curve, activate the filter, and select type and set proper F0/Q/Gain.
