A50+ Sub Out Issues

Hi,

I recently bought an A50+ and I’m trying to use the sub out. I have it using an RCA Y adapter going into a Fosi v3 amp. I am getting VERY low output. With the Fosi amp set to max volume I can just barely hear my speakers working. I’ve tested with two different woofers, one of which probably couldn’t handle the Fosi at full volume for more that a few minutes and yet it barely makes any sound.

If I set the input gain to +18db in ACP workbench then I can hear more output but nowhere near what I would expect. The Fosi v3 should be delivering ~150 watts RMS at 4 ohms and the out put is nowhere near that.

I think either the A50+ is not delivering enough voltage on the sub out or the Fosi v3 doesn’t work.

I’ll continue to troubleshoot but any input would be great.

I just tested with another amp I had on hand, it also is not able to drive the speakers with the A50+ sub out. Is there a setting I am missing?

The onboard amp on the A50+ is working fine and I can detect a very small amount of sub signal but not enough for an amp to use as a source. When measured with a multimeter, the AC voltage is 0.00 when playing a 50hz tone.
