I want to relocate the 3 encoders on the plate amp to a new control panel for the front of my boombox.
The idea was to desolder them and then just jumper over some wires from the original encoder board to the encoder in the new location.
My luck with desoldering did not go so well. In doing so, 2 of the pins have been broken off of the encoders.
I would like to aquire new encoders. Are these available for purchase from Arylic or can they be outsourced through an electronics distrubutor?
My problem is that I can’t even measure the encoders whith an ohmmeter as the pins are broken flush with the body.
