We are talking about a substantionally costlier board in the gamma of Arylic.
The negative experiences sofar are:
0. Firmware version 3.1.11.211022.afab7e: from 22 october 2021? If yes, then almost a year old.
- HTTP API: not working. Guess: only availible for companies with additional payment. The cheaper
boards do function with HTTP API. - MCU/UART: is not working at all. Not a single byte was detected. More something for comp-anies who
make thier own interface solution. - Digital in: SPDIF-in is not working. Extra circiut needed(! which?) Possibly only availible for companies
with additional payment. The cheaper boards do function with SPDIF in.
Conclusion: a great board for companies, who are willing to pay for all the features. DIY: excluded of the more sofisticated features: that would interfer with professional products from companies.
What next? Get a second digital player for a little more money with the same possibilites, a decent casing , likely more analog quality and more status.
